Join the Team that's changing ALS

You will work closely with our finance, data and operations teams, utilizing your knowledge of medical coding standards and regulations including private insurers, Medicare and Veterans Affairs, to ensure accurate coding, compliance, and appropriate reimbursement. This position requires the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, virtual environment, with a detail-oriented approach and exceptional technical coding knowledge and skills.

The Clinical Data Analyst will work collaboratively as a member of the data team to develop and maintain databases, ETL processing, clinical reporting, and business intelligence dashboards. This role will be heavily involved in the development of data products for enabling understanding of different treatment patterns of neurologic conditions, beginning with ALS and Parkinson’s.

Provides high-quality individual psychotherapy, family therapy, group therapy, behavioral management, and assessment to patients, caregivers, and loved ones on behalf of Synapticure to the neurodegenerative community across the US. Responsible for diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders in collaboration with the clinical care team including the treating physician, psychiatrist, and members of the care team. Participates in the creation of individualized treatment plans according to the patient's needs and circumstances. Meets with the Care Team regularly to collaborate on a patient's progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

We are currently seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to provide remote care to patients with neurodegenerative disease, as well as their family members and caregivers. The ideal candidate will have a background in Neuropsychiatry or Geriatric Psychiatry, and a passion for helping patients with neurodegenerative disease. You will work as part of a clinical team including Specialty trained neurologists, Nurses, LCWs, and MAs. Experience with Telepsychiatry is preferred.

As Synapticure plans to expand to serve more ALS patients in new ways, we are hiring an Engineering Manager to help build out our Patient/Caregiver Application, Care Coordination and EHR product. We are a seed-stage company and much of the work will be focused on working collaboratively to launch MVPs and iterate on them with our Product, Design, and Care teams.

For this role, we are looking for someone to help Brian communicate and execute his visions for both Synapticure (75% of time) and I AM ALS (25%). Because Brian’s ALS prevents him from typing and most people from immediately understanding him, these communication responsibilities include translating for Brian on calls with Synapticure’s investors (e.g., GV, Optum Ventures, etc.), collaborating cross-functionally with both Synapticure and IAA teams, and managing Brian’s inboxes and calendars. In short, you will be a partner-in-crime for one of the country’s leading healthcare advocates.
