I am passionate about medical education. I have worked as an adjunct professor at Florida Gulf Coast University, as well as a guest lecturer for several other universities, medical programs, and conferences.

With over 25 years of experience in the medical industry, I have expertise in various medical specialties, including cardiology, vascular surgery, primary care, and neurology. I am most passionate about working with Alzheimer’s patients and families, having expanded my knowledge base further to become a certified dementia practitioner.

In addition to working as an educator and a nurse practitioner, I am an avid reader, WVU Mountaineer, and Star Wars fanatic. I spend my free time with my husband, son, daughter, and dog. My daughter and I are active in Girl Scouts, where I am a co-leader, and she is currently working on her Gold Award.
