Request AppointmentPritika joins Synapticure with extensive experience acquired over nine years in various roles dedicated to the care of elderly patients. As a Registered Nurse in a memory care unit and adult day health program, she gained firsthand insight into the daily lives of those with cognitive impairments as well as the impact on their families.
Transitioning to a Nurse Practitioner role in neurology, she specialized in cognitive impairments and movement disorders. In this capacity, she contributed to the organization and implementation of two new multidisciplinary clinics along with several research studies and publications, with the goal of enhancing patient care. Most recently, she served as a palliative care Nurse Practitioner, focusing on symptom management and goals-of-care discussions for patients with chronic illnesses in their homes.
Her clinical practice is characterized by a collaborative approach with the patient and their support system, which includes loved ones, clinicians, and caregivers. She is committed to empowering patients and their families to advocate for their health and wellness.
Originally from Massachusetts, where she currently resides, Pritika enjoys traveling and is working toward her goal of visiting all 50 US states (29 so far!).
