I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, where I completed all of my medical training. Our fascinatingly complex neurologic system, much of which is still not fully understood, is what drove me to pursue a career as a neurologist. Having spent time practicing medicine internationally in resource-limited settings (Tanzania, Indian Himalayas), access to adequate healthcare is a challenge I care deeply about. Synapticure’s mission of expanding access for patients with complex neurodegenerative diseases is one that I’m very excited to be part of.
I find great pleasure in travel/experiencing new cultures, hiking with my mini golden doodle and two Siberian village dogs, nature photography, and watching Atlanta sports.
Very passionate about global health, have gone to Tanzania, Indian Himalayas to learn about global healthcare practices in resource limited settings.
