Biography

Dr. Lilliam Rodriguez is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 14 years of experience in the treatment of developmental and complex trauma, grief and loss, substance use, depression and anxiety. Dr. Lilly's non-judgmental, open-hearted orientation to therapeutic relationships, along with her compassion for the difficulties arising from complex family systems, enhance her work with adults, families, caregivers and other adults in life-stage transitions. She brings her wisdom and passion to supporting patients without pathologizing the difficulty of their experience.

Formerly having led clinical and administrative teams at both residential and outpatient behavioral health treatment programs, Dr. Lilly is known for her keen intelligence, high professional standards of collaboration with other clinicians, and dedication to helping patients identify practical, psychological and spiritual solutions to their struggles. One of her dearest values is to uphold and celebrate her patients’ diversity, including ethnic, racial, gender, sexual, and spiritual expressions of their humanity. Lilly’s treatment approach draws from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR, and her current area of clinical inquiry is to understand the shaping of behavioral change through the lens of Polyvagal Theory. Dr. Rodriguez holds a BA in Psychology and a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
